Our Cheesemaking Facilities

In 2005 was built the cheesemaing facilities of our company E & K Exarhos as it is today. It is located at the 3.5 km of Elassona – Deskati road and is spread at a 3,500 square meters of land. The main activities are mentioned below:

Receiving and processing of milk

Milk is daily collected from the farms that we collaborate with and is transported to our facilities, where it is goes through quality assurance and pasteurization in order to proceed with cheesemaking.

Production of cheese

Η παραγωγή των προϊόντων μας βασίζεται στον άριστο συνδυασμό της παραδοσιακής συνταγής που κληρονομήσαμε από τους προγόνους μας, με τη σύγχρονη τεχνολογία που επιβάλουν οι εξελίξεις της εποχής, καθώς επίσης και κατάλληλα εκπαιδευμένο προσωπικό με γνώση και εμπειρία χρόνων πάνω στην παραδοσιακή τυροκομία.

Storage

Fresh products such as mizithra and butter are brought to refrigerators for direct distribution to customers, while cheese such as feta, kaseri, kefalotyri and goat cheese ripen and then stored in our refrigerators until to be ready for sale.

Quality assurance of products

The specialized chemistry located on our premises and the collaboration with a certified external chemist, ensure the excellent quality of our products, during production, ripening and storage, in order to offer the consumer excellent and stable quality.
